New Inspirational Column Online from Doreen Washington

Each Wednesday, author Doreen Washington will reach out to women with inspiration and motivation. Her new column, "We Are Woman," will appear at www.MyVMagazine.com, in the "Life Is Good" department, an appropriate spot for her uplifting words.

Doreen Washington resides in Newport News, VA. She is the author of "We Are Woman," an inspiring book that speaks to women about their strength, value and victories. Her next book, "Trapped - Learning to live free while waiting for romance and marriage," will hit book stores in early 2010.

Doreen is also the Founder and Executive Director of The FACE Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that focuses its resources on assisting single working mothers.  She is also president of the local chapter of National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

The We Are Woman column joins another new online column at MyVMagazine.com, "Simple Pleasures Book Reviews" by Brenda Seward, co-owner of Simple Pleasures Books & Gifts. The MyVMagazine web site, with new articles posted daily, features a diversity of other content of interest to local women, including profiles, business news, features on pets, relationships, health and fitness, and much more.
