Decide Your Fate Today!
by Doreen Washington
We all have things that may possibly decide the roads which we take each day; things that may decide our fate in life: where we may live, the sizes of our families, the positions that we hold and even the foods that we eat.
The stress and confusion of our world brings about a different interpretation of what we may wish our lives to be. Things don’t always look so good.
But you can decide your fate – how your life will play out – even with those unexpected events that may occur. You can decide that your fate will be having joy, peace and happiness.
We can start by remembering that we are worth something and our lives can be full. We must remember that we must begin to matter to ourselves first before we can matter to others.
We all have the opportunity to reclaim our sense of strength to the things that may have tried to dictate our fate, our road and our destiny. We have the right to decide to have a wonderful time while living, the right to enjoy all things in their beauty as they have been given to us to enjoy.
It’s up to you to decide how you will complete this wonderful race that you face each day. Will you win in this life or lose.
You decide. Don't let others decide for you – your fate isn’t theirs to decide, even though sometimes it may just be easier to do so. You have the right to have a fate that has hope and a promise. A fate that has a great expected end for you. Pick yourself up and you decide today that you're worth it.
We must learn to accept that we can grow as women and if we stop growing our lives may not be full of joy, happiness and promise. Don’t decide to let your life pass you by. We can try to move forward by growing as women and decide the fate of our futures – a good future. We have daughters to raise, sons to show and a future to gain. We're all worth it! Decide your fate today! We are woman!
