Vegetarians of Virginia, unite! The Richmond Vegetarian Festival, Vegan Action, and the Vegetarian Society of Richmond are sponsoring a Virginia license plate promoting vegetarian eating. In order to make this happen, they must gather 350 completed applications (see attachment at the bottom of the article page) before submitting their request to DMV this September.

Each application must be accompanied by the special license plate fee of $10.00. This application fee is held in a separate account and is refundable if we don’t gather enough signatures to proceed with the rest of the new special license plate process.

Please submit the completed License Plate Application with $10.00 application fee ($20.00 for personalized plates) to:

“Time is of the essence,” says organizer Brenda Morris. “Please send your application today to assist Virginia in becoming the first state in the nation with VEGETARIAN plates! Let’s promote healthy living to all, while not letting the bowlers and tobacco heritage folks one up us.”
