Richmond's First Controversy Club Debate

The Controversy Club presents their inaugural debate on Tuesday, April 20, 2010: "Healthcare: Should the U.S. Government Be Involved in Healthcare?"

The Controversy Club will feature open format, nonpartisan, pro and con dialogues about the leading issues that confront us as American citizens, providing invigorating civil public discourse about topics that impact our everyday lives.

Future events include a May 18 debate, "Should the Government Bail Out Businesses" and June 15 discussion, "Is Social Security Really Security?"

 

Doors open at 6pm, with the program from 6:30-8pm. The event is free and open to the public, with food and beverage service available at "The Place" at Innsbrook Shoppes, 4036-C Cox Road, Glen Allen VA, 23060, at the entrance to Innsbrook at Cox & Broad streets. Parking is free.
