Local Women Give Back

Richmond, VA- Denise Gorondy and Jennifer Wright understand the importance of giving back, as veterinarians they promote equine health, but as local businesses women they are enriching the community around them. Mentoring, lecturing and volunteering are just a few of their yearly activities. However on Sunday June 6th they will be giving back in a way as big as some of their patients at their 2010 Client Education Seminar.

“This circle of collaboration benefits our clients, their horses, our vendor partners, local small business, and charities”, said Wright.

Gordony and Wright’s business, Three Oaks Veterinary Services, will invite over 200 horse lovers to Hermitage Country Club to educate them on the equine health and wellness. While the clients are learning, there will also be a food drive coinciding with the event to benefit the Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services.

According to Gordony who was also featured as May 2008  V covergirl , “In addition to helping our clients and their horses we, also like to take this opportunity to help local individuals in need . . ”

The seminar also gives other local businesswomen, Abby M. Sage, VMD and Laura who serve as experts in the field of equine health, a chance to educate others. Subjects such as equine biomechanics, rehabilitation and nutrition will be covered.
